Draft of 16 October 2026
Privacy
This is a draft. The operator’s legal name and mailing address on this page are still to be confirmed, and will be before Zunsho opens to everyone.
Zunsho is a booking link for in-person pros. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect when a pro uses it and when a customer sends a request, books a time or books a consult, and what we do with it.
Who we are
Zunsho is run by Nexora Unity LLC, 1007 N Orange St, 4th Floor #4813, Wilmington, DE 19801. You can reach us at hello@holdtobook.com.
Privacy contact: Our privacy officer, hello@holdtobook.com. They are responsible for how Zunsho handles personal information, and answer every privacy question and request.
What we collect from pros
- Your email address, to sign you in with an emailed link.
- Your email address (or the reply-to email you set) is shown to customers who send you a request, so they can reply to you.
- What you put on your booking page: your name, your link, your bio, your area, your services and prices, your policy, and the payment details you choose to show customers.
- The photos you upload.
- The requests, bookings, clients, notes and payments you record.
What we collect from customers
When you send a request to a pro, we collect what the form asks for:
- Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number. Your address only if the pro comes to you.
- What you asked for, your answers, your photos and the dates you picked.
- Answers to the pro's own questions. These can include health details, such as allergies or injuries, if the pro asks. Only share what you're comfortable with.
- Whether you ticked the box to get texts, the phone number and the exact words you agreed to. We do not send texts yet.
- When you agreed to the pro's policy, and the internet address the request came from, as a record of that agreement.
When you book a time on a pro's page (straight in, from their open times or an opening), we collect:
- Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number. Your address only if the pro comes to you.
- Your answers to the pro's questions and any note you add.
- When you agreed to the pro's policy, which version, and the internet address the booking came from, as a record of that agreement.
- Whether you ticked the box to get texts, the phone number and the exact words you agreed to (kept as a fingerprint of the wording and its version). We do not send texts yet.
When a pro invites you to a consult, you get a private link. It works for anyone who has it, until it runs out: it shows the consult, the pro's note and where it happens (your address, if the pro comes to you). Booking the consult records the time you picked, your agreement to the pro's policy, and the internet address it came from.
A pro's openings (for example a flash day) show on their page how many spots are left, when the pro chooses to. They never show who booked.
What we collect automatically
- A sign-in cookie, for pros only, so you stay signed in. Customers get no cookies from us.
- For pros: the internet address and the device or browser you signed in from, to keep your account safe.
- Counts of how often an internet address or email address uses our forms, kept as scrambled fingerprints rather than the address itself, to stop abuse. They are deleted when they run out.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
Why we use it
- To show the pro's booking page and pass each request to the pro.
- To send the emails a booking needs: request received, accepted or declined, a time booked (with the deposit details when one is due), a consult invitation and a consult booked, the deposit reminders, the confirmation, the appointment reminder, and changes.
- To keep a record of what was agreed, in case of a dispute between a pro and a customer.
- To keep the service safe and working.
These emails are about a request you made or a booking page you run. We do not send marketing email.
Who sees it
The pro you send a request to, or book with, sees everything in it, by email and in the app, and is responsible for how they use it.
A pro's booking page is public, and search engines can show it while the pro is taking requests. Customers' requests and bookings are never on it.
If a pro subscribes to their calendar link, their calendar app (for example Apple or Google Calendar) receives their customers' names and booking times.
Companies that run parts of Zunsho for us process it on our behalf: Railway (hosting, the database and photo storage), Resend (sending email) and Cloudflare (checking that forms are filled in by people). Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Photos
We remove location and camera details from every photo before storing it. Photos are kept in private storage. Portfolio photos appear on the pro's page; reference photos sent with a request are shown only to that pro. Photos added to a form but never sent are deleted within a day.
How long we keep it
- A pro's page, requests, bookings, clients and photos: until the pro or the customer asks us to delete them. Until there is a button for it, write to hello@holdtobook.com and we will do it.
- A copy of each email we send (for questions about what was sent): 30 days, after which only the record that it was sent is kept.
- Photos added to a form but never sent: deleted within a day.
- The scrambled counts we use to stop abuse: deleted when their window ends, within a day.
When we delete something, we keep only what the law requires us to.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by writing to hello@holdtobook.com. A customer can also ask the pro directly, by replying to any email about their booking.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).
Changes
If this page changes, we will update it here and change the version at the top.
